Police appeal to locate a man who may be a danger to the public (Forcewide)

Avon and Somerset Police need help in locating this man.

I really don't know how they could lose him in the first place though.

His bail condition was that he lived in Worcester..............are there no children there???

 Police in Avon and Somerset are appealing for information to trace a man charged with 26 sexual offences.



Wanted man Robert Hands



Roberts Hands, 53, was last seen in July of this year. He has since failed to appear at Bristol Crown court on the following charges committed between 1999 and 2009:

• 4 counts of rape

• 6 counts of sexual activity with a child with penetration
• 3 counts of sexual activity with a child no penetration
• 3 counts of indecent assault of a girl under the age of 13
• 3 counts of indecency with a child
• 2 counts of inciting sexual activity with a child
• 5 counts of making indecent images of children

He is described as white; around 5ft 9 inches tall, of a heavy build, with shoulder length brown/greying hair which is sometimes tied in a pony tail. He has a grey beard, sometimes in a goatee style and sometimes full face, blue eyes, and scar on left side of abdomen.

He is known to considerably change his appearance.

Robert Hands was last seen in Worcester where he was living as part of his bail conditions. A warrant has been issued for his arrest, and numerous attempts have been made to find him in areas he has previously been linked. These include the West Midlands, West Mercia, Humberside, and Devon & Cornwall Police. He is also connected to addresses in the Worcester, Droitwich, Bilston, Hull, and Teignmouth area.
